From the recording You Can't Kill Light
Out of a place of darkness I began to think of all the amazing individuals, known and unknown who have risen up and created movements that change history. This is in honor of the people who truly do make America great.
I wrote this song one week before the 2017 inauguration of Trump, recorded it, mixed and mastered it and created a video that I released on the day of the inauguration. I was invited to sing it at the 2018 and 2019 Bay Area Women's Marches.
